Missing driver software for Windows to access the serial ports as Com Ports
It seems you've purchased the wrong product.
The ModGate are Gateways from Modbus/TCP to Modbus/RTU (or /ASCII). So your programs have to contact the ModGate via TCP direct, and transfer data following the protocol specifications for Modbus/TCP. There is no Com Port involved, hence there is no driver software.
If you need a remotely controlled Com Port (with Driver software),
you have to purchase a NetCom Plus.
Here you may use the serial ports as Com Ports if you like.
To
operate with Modbus serial protocol your program has to implement
Modbus/RTU or Modbus/ASCII like it is done on Com1. Keep in mind there is an added latency caused by the network connection. So the timing with Modbus/RTU must be handled in a somehow relaxed way.
