PCI/ISA/PCMCIA to Serial

ID #1014

What is the jumper on my board for?

The PCI boards have two (or even more) possible speed settings. Installation always assumes high speed, i.e. the maximum bitrate is 921,600bps. Sometimes this is not the real configuration of the board. When the driver is first loaded, it will detect the real configuration of the hardware. Under rare conditions this test may fail.
Please use the "Check" button in the "Advanced" panel of the serial card.
